Time To Waste

I said to myself, "I have stories to tell."
I said to myself, "I will tell them."
And I am, here at 40 building them,
No time to waste,

You there saying, "Everyone thinks they're a photographer"
Where the Hell are your photos?
"That's nothing but crap."
Where the Hell are your missteps?
But you've never stepped,
Back off,
Step up if you have the backbone,
But you don't even have the balls to choose a direction to go,

Saying, "This guy writes every day like he is someone."
Saying, 'This girl only dances in a room alone."
Do you have any words or spins?
Shit,
Screw the time waste you waste while others burn up worlds,
Go play with your friends your two hands,
Painting, shaping clay, and you only have things to say against,
Fuck you,
Two words to waste on you,
Things to do,
Stories to tell,

Burn the ugly at the stake."

NEW!! Freal

COMING JUNE 15TH 2004
A POETRY COLLECTION

until then how about a something new for today,

FREAL
Until my heart breaks,
I walk around as myself,
Without all the shakes,
From the way linear makes me all corporeal,
To how I stand on my horse without apologies,
I see your moral as being full of blood,
This is a touch of me going out for lunch,
But without giving much,
What corrupted my own soul once?
Give an inch?
Fuck you this is my inch,
Step off,
Step away if you don't like what I have to say,
I'm not on a mission to make everyone happy,
With words my pen sings,
It also slices and stings,
That is my image in the mirror,
I want to wake up without questions of why,
I will care,
I will speak,
I will dress from toe to feet,
In the ways of being the freak that I'm proud to be,
I have an army standing beside me,
Good luck to you and me,

NEW!! Jericho Wall

COMING JUNE 15TH 2004
A POETRY COLLECTION

until then how about a something new just for today,

JERICHO WALL
Woke up with this touching,
This dying,
This lurching,
Trying to figure out which way to go,
Friendships I love are sand shifting,
My mind is dealing to the nature of this world,
I ask you please stop your seeding,
Rip away this Christmas Carol bleeding,
Stop asking me questions I don't understand,
I'm just one man,
Just an every day trying sort of man,

My thoughts can be a deceiving,
Nature unto itself,
While gasping at the silence of defacing the voices that heal,
I kneel,
Tears falling from the Jericho Wall,
I crumble,
I scream,
I get in your face,
This is not all,

I push away these thoughts of leaving,
To hold onto arms that have been needing,
But as I hold onto his thighs,
My mind hurts with the same anger he has in the air,
My mind hurts with the fear in how this make believe planet can be,
I have a fear that I maybe losing a friend for evermore,
I ask you please stop your leading,
Rip away this Christmas Carol bleeding,

NEW!! Ducks

COMING JUNE 15TH 2004
A POETRY COLLECTION

until then how about a something new just for today,

DUCKS
No good way to say this,
But I will try,
I'm almost to the point of saying goodbye,
The sun is in reach,
Maybe this time I will not let it pass me by,
Knowing how much the feeling can pass,
Keeps me thinking of the last,
The last time I felt like leaving everything behind,

I have put myself on a shelf,
I've measured out my mouth in the ways that I've failed,
The days that pile up are on my mind,
It keeps reminding me of the clock within my eyes ticking away at my time,
Hands ach,
The veins are rising from the skin,
I scratch away at my sin,

Children played as the day was almost over,
A phone call came from my lover,
Things are calm,
Reached down within to find this is never ending,
What I find is a hole,
Sometimes this all just seems like I'm pretending,
No good way to say this,
But I will try,

NEW!! BLACK SNOW

COMING JUNE 15TH 2004
A POETRY COLLECTION

until then how about a something new just for today,

BLACK SNOW
A nature,
A feeling,
A way of looking out for the sky,
Believing in what brings joy,
Just what has passed by,
What brings joy,
Not just for show,
What brings the black snow,
It's all about the reaching,
Preaching to your own heart,
The taking of the moments,
Not letting them rip you apart,
The roads I have walked they were not always straight,
The feelings I've felt for the mirror sometimes were pure hate,
Even if tomorrow leads me to walk alone,
Even if all I have on my back is all I own,
I will take those steps of journey with my life in my hands,
My footsteps with the raven spirit,
My soul making all the plans,
In the black snow,

NEW!! Boot Fight

COMING JUNE 15TH 2004
A POETRY COLLECTION

until then how about a something new just for today,

BOOT FIGHT
It's a shattered path I revolve around,
I turned up gray,
Then turned my mind down,
Face I found standing nose to nose may have been my own,
I thought am I ok with the view shown?
Charity of simplicity is that you are either wrong or right,
You stand up boy,
Decide to be a man,
Because being a man has nothing to with age or strength,
It has more to do with how much your life has meant,
How many times I have made the wrong choice,
Stood up and held my hand up with my own voice,
Times I have backed down to benefit another life,
Those days I have waded through all sorts of strife,
It's a simple little message from a simple man,
These boots are my battles,
These boots are my land,

NEW!! You Know

COMING JUNE 15TH 2004
A POETRY COLLECTION

until then how about a something new just for today,

YOU KNOW
Crawl from that hole of happiness,
Push for a second back the trust,
Your memories of me keep dragging you towards us,
Can't you remember the times you hit with whatever was at hand,
Can't you remember how much you ripped apart this man,
I recall all the moments of you know me so much it has never stopped hurting,

Another sort of cruel lie,
When you walked up to me,
With those eyes that kept my heart at rest,
The things swirling in my head I'm trying my best,
Know every step of what you do to me,
Know every trick you can use,
Not really strong enough to say no,
And you know,
You know what remains,
And you know will always remain the same,

NEW!!! Tickets And Subs and news on two 2014 collections

Before getting to a new poem I wanted to post today I also wished to announce that I would be releasing two poetry collections this year. One I had already announced for October and another will be coming out in June. While working on the poems that will be part of the Oct. collection I found myself with enough material for two collections and also a number of others to post here on the Bloodwaste Books site. More news on covers and collection titles will be release in the weeks to come.

Tickets And Subs
The heat burns,
The sun falls,
I don't believe it's either that saves me when I have to crawl,
It's the whispers who stand within my mind that keeps me sane,

Night rounds with beach time,
Trying to keep a piece of mind,
Doing my time on this Earth,
I'm trying to keep peace with my own birth,
When do the times get easier to follow,
Oh, father,
Oh, mother,
Goddess and my lover,
I try to keep the days at bay but so many things still left to say,

I have to sometimes wonder,
I have to sometimes fight,
Sometimes wrap myself up into my own self hate late at night,
I am in this for the long hall,
Nothing means more to this man,
I love you for the woman you are,
But I have to wonder,
Have to wonder if you can love me for the fucked up man I am?

The argument is living within the pain of my eyes,
Moving upside of me living outside,

Tickets and subway dancing makes me feel alive,
But do you see how lightening lashes out from within my mind?
Do you understand the weaknesses I have?
Do you know the things I've left behind?

God Life Gone Life

There’re aliens in the skin of family,
Predators at the throats of everything I believe in,
Been out of work for too long to remember when I was worthy,
The pain of how I've lost hits really close,

Friends have moved on to pass tests that weren't tests at all,
Better writers, Better people,
And nothing hurts like the pain in my head,
Daggers in the brain,
But when she’s sick it puts a hole right in the center of me,
When she’s sick I want to push it all down and be a better man,

The world has decided it wants to make her cry,
And it just doesn't understand how scared it should be,
Because it’s picking on the wrong person,
I love her more than keeping up this pity party,
They are fucking with a woman who is a light inside the darkness of my mind,
And nothing hurts like the pain in my head,
Daggers in the brain,
I’m scared every morning she won’t come back,
You say failure,
I say ok,
God says take another,
I say I’m owed more and a few more,
Everything circles around me in attack,
But when she’s sick it puts a hole right in the center of me,

ACETAMINOPHEN 12000mg

Eight poems written on a extremely stupid phone while on a trip from Melbourne to Miami.
A experiment turns into some of the best group of poems the writer has ever written capturing so much about that day in his life.

HAVE YOU HEARD THE ONE ABOUT THE CITIZEN NIGHTSTICK?

I'm pretty much faceless,
The perfect cover boy for the raging careless,
Wrapped in the lies of musty words and the tasteless hate,
But I’ve fought too long to be late,
Sunshine state to summer sands,
Pick up your riot gear and let’s show them how much we love their plans,

Purging the right of choice,
Purging the right to vote,
A flash of new lies about how dangerous fucking is on all our screens,
Not writing a way to bless,
Not preaching to balcony scenes,
I’m purging all my careless,
Replacing it with my riot gear,
So here comes my song,
Can you hear?

Can you hear?

I’m pretty much on a night out to see what everyone is wearing,
That natural reaction you have to the truth is just fine,
I have my helmet right here,
You stand still and this will go fine,
To write is to aim with reason,

Purging the right,
Purging all my careless,
Replacing it with my riot gear,
So here comes my song,
Can you hear?
Others are starting to sing,
Others are starting to write,
Others are starting to put on their gear,
I’m purging all my careless,
Can you hear?
I’m singing this loud,
Can you hear me with this face on?
How about with this in my hand?

PULL UP THAT SHIELD

People want to say what about your responsibilities,
Their lives,
You're not a cattle to be herded,
Your life is your prize,
Keep lies off your highs,
And if you have to cut those ties,
They want to play simple realities,
But that's not how life works,
And that's not how you get happy,
Go,
Go and be free,
Go my friend,
If you're ready go,

You might think no one believes in you,
But you believe in you,
Anyways no one believing in you can't defeat you,
That's only something you can do,
And you don't have time to be your own worst enemy,
They might chant,
They might chatter,
That you will find yourself alone,
But alone can be happy and being surround by thousands can be alone,
Caught in a structure of what everyone sees as perfect for you,
What they want for you is them being selfious,
Because the point is where you find happiness is where you find yourself on your own road,

People want to say what about your responsibilities,
Their lives,
They want to play simple realities,
Go,
Go,
Go,

They want to talk about what's tough,
But the part you need to scream is when you say I'm not coming back home,
Your life matters,
Pull up that shield,
Not to hide but to defend,
Because this your happy chant,
And that's how life works,
That's how you get happy,
Go,
Go and be free for you,
Go,
Go,
My friend if your ready go,

NEW EPISODE: a poetry collection

I haven't released anything in a while so I thought I'd rerelease one of my old LuLu poetry collections on my new projects home at Smashwords. Hope you enjoy NEW EPISODE. Oh, did I mention it's free. Yes, free unless you want to pay for it. You know tip the jar so to speak. Below is one of the poems within the collection.

BOMB
Bombing for Christ,
Bombing for hate,
Bombing to push back the wait,
Bombing for joy,
Bombing for pain,
Bombing to drawn out the rain,
Bombing for war,
Now there is growth,
Bombing is just the truth,
Bombing to cut,
Bombing to kill,
Murder in a military dressed up drill,
Bombing is fun,
Bomb out the sun,
See the darkness,
Who won?
